EMS Central Grand Opening!

Please join us for the Grand Opening of EMS Central here in Ocala, FL! This location will provide our community with access to first responders in the central and western areas of the City of Ocala along with urban areas outside the city!

The new facility includes:
o Apparatus bays for 12 units to protect the apparatus from the elements of weather and for security.
o Separate sleeping areas for 9 crews, the Captain, and the Battalion Chief.
o 4 restrooms with showers.
o Physical training room to allow for exercise equipment and other opportunities to improve employee health.
o 2 dayroom areas where crews are able to relax when not responding to incidents.
o Large kitchen and dining areas allowing for crews to cook meals and eat together as an overall station.
o Option for a large training room with separate bathrooms to allow for crew training and other meetings to take place.
o Sufficient parking for crew member personal vehicles.
o Separate storage area for crews to store their personal protective equipment and decrease contamination risks.
o EMS supply vending machines to provide for restocking of units.
