Fred Johnson and Don Johnson offered an evening of traditional drumming, African harp, and voice to explore African heritage and the healing power of music. Just as West African mud cloth weaves together both the beauty of individuality and respect for community, Fred and Don weave a celebration of music and history to unify communities and amplify hope. We were out on the go at NOMA Gallery to experience this artful, profound performance brought to us by Arts in Health Ocala Metro — who are making the connection between art and health in Ocala.
