About Arts in Health Ocala Metro (AIHOM) is a non-profit organization that supports mental and physical health through the arts. AIHOM differs from other organizations that create art with the public in two key ways. First, we do not “teach” artmaking. Rather, we use art as a vehicle to positively impact community physical and mental health. The creation of a finished product is less important than how the process of creating makes one feel. Second, we collect data on all our art interactions to substantiate that the arts are good for the body and mind.
Mission: Arts in Health Ocala Metro is a nonprofit that supports mental and physical health through the arts.
Vision: To transform the health of Ocala/Marion County through healing arts programming.
Go to https://aihocala.org/ for more information about AIHOM.

About Marion Cultural Alliance (MCA), established in 2001, stands as a beacon for the arts within its community. As a nonprofit organization, MCA has consistently demonstrated its commitment to nurturing the arts and supporting artists. Its inaugural project, the Horse Fever public art initiative, was a resounding success, captivating the community’s imagination and enthusiasm. This project highlighted the area’s artistic talent and laid a strong foundation for MCA’s ongoing mission to foster creativity and artistic expression.
MCA’s efforts extend far beyond individual art projects. The organization is pivotal in promoting, facilitating, and creating opportunities for artists and arts organizations. Through a variety of means, including grants, strategic partnerships, advocacy, and fundraising, MCA ensures that the arts remain a vibrant and integral part of community life. By providing financial support and resources, MCA empowers artists to pursue their passions and helps arts organizations to thrive. The alliance’s dedication to the arts also encompasses the preservation of historical and scientific museums, ensuring that cultural heritage is maintained and celebrated.
In addition to its support of individual artists and organizations, MCA is deeply invested in advancing educational initiatives. By fostering arts education, MCA helps to cultivate the next generation of artists and art appreciators. The organization’s programs are designed to inspire creativity and critical thinking, offering opportunities for people of all ages to engage with the arts. MCA’s comprehensive approach underscores the belief that the arts are essential to a well-rounded and vibrant community. Event Details
Multiplatinum recording artists Matthew and Gunnar Nelson, the twin brothers behind the iconic music group NELSON, embody the enduring legacy of America’s most extraordinary show business family. As the seventh generation of entertainers, they continue the traditions of excellence and integrity that have characterized their family for over 120 years. From the moment they burst onto the scene with their self-penned debut album, “After The Rain,” Matthew and Gunnar Nelson captivated audiences with their striking good looks and trademark long blonde hair.
However, it was their exceptional songwriting and commercially savvy rock sound that catapulted them to stardom, solidifying their status as third-generation torchbearers of the Nelson family legacy. In a remarkable achievement, their hit single “(I Can’t Live Without Your) Love and Affection” secured the Nelsons’ place in the Guinness Book of World Records as the only family in history to achieve number one record status in three successive generations.
Throughout their illustrious career, Matthew and Gunnar have continued to impress with their songwriting prowess and electrifying performances. They have written and performed one number one and five top 10 singles, garnered four number one MTV videos, sold over five million records, and enthralled millions of fans across the globe with their magnetic stage presence. Their talent extends far beyond the music industry, as they have proven themselves to be multifaceted entertainers, savvy entrepreneurs, and ambassadors of unwavering positivity and resilience. Born into the iconic Nelson family, whose matriarch and patriarch were none other than actress Harriet Nelson and bandleader Ozzie Nelson, Matthew and Gunnar were destined for greatness. Their father, the legendary Ricky Nelson, rose to prominence as one of the most influential rock artists of the ’50s and ’60s, selling over 100 million albums and earning a well-deserved place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Matthew and Gunnar’s musical journey began at the age of five, honing their vocal, bass, and drum skills by playing originals in the hayloft above their parents’ Studio City California farm. Inspired by their father’s current success with his classic song “Garden Party” and the vibrant California country rock movement at the time, the twins dedicated their lives to music. At just 12 years old, they fearlessly took to the stages of the cutthroat L.A. punk and new wave club scene as part of the punky power-pop trio, The Strange Agents. Their concert career was born: two kids cutting heads with musicians twice their age like The Knack, The Go Go’s, and X.
In the face of tragedy, Matthew and Gunnar persevered and emerged stronger than ever. Mere months after their father’s untimely death in a plane crash, their then-band, The Nelsons, made history as the first and only unsigned act to perform as the musical guests on TV’s Saturday Night Live. Fueled by their unwavering dedication to being an unstoppable force to be reckoned with, Gunnar traded his drumming duties for the guitar, embracing a more active role in the band and blossoming into a proficient guitarist and fluent co-frontman. Guided by writing and production mentor John Boylan (Boston/Linda Ronstadt), the duo immersed themselves into refining their songwriting skills and developing their signature sound. The resulting NELSON sound coalesced a unique blend of rock attitude, pop hooks, country lyrics, and brother harmonies that has resonated with audiences globally for three decades.

Headlining Act: Clover’s Revenge
Clover’s Revenge is a dangerous intersection of two Irish musical traditions: Acoustic pub music & Celtic punk rock. Using the simplest possible instrumentation, the trio creates an explosive sound, with detailed harmonic lines, complex rhythms and provocative original lyrics, all at speed.
Steeped – no – pickled in the traditions of the Dubliners, Pogues, Silly Wizard and Flogging Molly, the band insists upon high-speed, technical traditional tunes and punk rock badassery.
Together since 2015, the trio has performed at festivals and pubs throughout the southeast and also toured Ireland, Scotland, and England. Coming off the release of their highly anticipated CD, Among Your Friends, the band boasts almost one million streams on Spotify featuring music from their first two projects, Gotta Get O’Raggednized and Truants And Absolution

Event Details
Maharajah Flamenco Trio delivers a moving and dynamic expression of Flamenco Nuevo (New or “modern” Flamenco), by blending traditional Spanish rhythms with jazz, classical, and world music.
Founded in 2011, Maharajah Flamenco Trio is the brainchild of Silviu Ciulei. After successfully leading flamenco bands in Romania and later in the US in Tennessee, Silviu was looking to put something together in his new home, at the time Tallahassee, Florida. He wanted this group to be smaller than previous endeavors, more intimate, with more virtuosic players to fully accompany and realize his compositions. He met David Cobb by chance when both were hired through a mutual friend to play a city festival. Both were intrigued by each other’s playing style. Once Silviu met Ramin, he realized he had found the perfect players, and brought them together to create Maharajah Flamenco Trio. Not long after, they began to tour, playing theatres, universities, and music venues along the east coast, from the Dixie Theatre in Apalachicola, FL to The Shrine in Harlem, NY. They have appeared on television, as well as NPR, college, and internet radio, and in print around the southeast. They have been the featured artist two years running at the Southern Guitar Festival and were recently featured in Florida State University’s annual Rainbow Concert, a showcase of the great world music scene in Tallahassee.
In 2013, they released their first studio album, Encuentro, a musical encounter that transports the listener around the world. Rich and finely-nuanced, the album captures the diverse musical backgrounds and technical virtuosity of the trio to create a singular listening experience of unique and daring music. Visit the music page for more information on Encuentro.

Event Details
With countless tunes you know from the first note, rip-roaring gigs you can count on, and a whole lot of energy you’ll take home with you, BoDeans continue to contribute to the American songbook as a tried-and true institution.
Founded and led by original frontman, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Kurt Neumann, the band’s catalog consists of generational anthems such as “Good Things,” You Don’t Get Much,” “Idaho,” and “Closer To Free,” just to name a few. However, they still reflect the soul and spirit of the modern American experience on their fourteenth full-length offering, 4 The Last Time.
BoDeans emerged out of Waukesha, WI in 1986 with the seminal debut, Love & Hope & Sex & Dreams, produced by T Bone Burnett. Following Outside Looking In [1987], Home [1989], and Black and White [1991], Go Slow Down [1993] yielded “Closer To Free,” which famously served as the theme song for the smash hit television series Party of Five. With a sought-after discography, their music landed hundreds of television and film placements. Meanwhile, they transformed into a proven live phenomenon by supporting the likes of U2, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Tom Petty, The Pretenders, and David Bowie in addition to gracing the bills of Farm Aid, Summerfest, and ACL. Speaking to the group’s legacy, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame permanently entrenched BoDeans in the Midwest Artists exhibit. Most recently, 2017’s Thirteen arrived to widespread acclaim from The Chicago Tribune and Glide Magazine who spotlighted the music’s “understated grace—an attribute that no doubt fuels the steadfast approach Kurt Neumann has employed of his thirty-plus years as a ‘BoDean’.” Along the way, NETFLIX’s The Ranch also utilized over 70 tunes from Kurt, and he launched his own podcast Staring At The World.
In the midst of the Global Pandemic, he wrote and recorded what would become 4 The Last Time in his Austin, TX studio. “We have a classic guitar-driven midwestern rock pop sound,” he goes on. “I wanted to make sure there was still some music out there with guitars on it. I feel like I’m getting better at this in my fifties. So, there are a lot of those big rock songs we’ve done for years. I got that vibe down on this record.”
When ‘4 The Last Time’ was on The Ranch, I got so many messages asking for a full version. I thought the title might get everyone talking since we’ve been around for so long. Is this the last time? It’s a topic of conversation when you mention the history of the band.”
“For the next year, I’m going to be showing up in towns everywhere and trying to bring people together a little more,” he leaves off. “Come to a BoDeans gig, sing along, and forget about everything else. That’s why I play nowadays. I’d like to keep pushing that message as long as I can

Event Details
Veronica Swift’s new eponymously titled album, her third for Mack Avenue Records, is a masterful coming-out story. On her previous albums, Confessions (2019) and This Bitter Earth (2021), she ascended to the upper echelon of early 21st century jazz singers because of her virtuosic brilliance, interpretive ingenuity, bracing songwriting, and keen arrangements. Simply put, Swift is not only one of the most dazzling singers to emerge in her generation, she’s one of the most versatile.
While her first two albums solidified her position in modern jazz, Veronica Swift shows that she’s more than a jazz singer, exploring French and Italian opera, European classical music, bossa nova, blues, industrial rock, funk, and vaudeville. She pulls the feat off without the results sounding callow or pastiche. Swift’s expansive artistic voice remains firmly intact regardless of genre.
Swift describes this personal artistic statement on her new album as “transgenre.” “I grew up immersed in the culture of jazz music, blessed to have had some of the greats as mentors, and I felt a deep familial duty to uphold that” she says, reflecting on her parents – jazz singer and educator, Stephanie Nakasian, and bebop pianist, Hod O’Brien.
“But as rooted in jazz as I’ve been, there’s a uniquely visceral power in rock and soul music that’s always fueled my creative passion, and rather than mask or confine that part of my identity, the people I admire most show themselves unabashedly and that’s the kind of tradition I want to be a part of.
Swift first gained major international attention in 2015 when she won second place in the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz International Vocals Competition. Four years later, Mack Avenue Records released her acclaimed album Confessions when she was only 25 years old. She demonstrated her flair for conceptual song cycles on her follow-up album, This Bitter Earth, which not only gave glimpses of her rock influences but thematically touched upon some of the harder truths of being a woman, particularly when it comes to domestic abuse.
Swift says that for her new album she’d been exploring her “transgenre” concept for about two-and-half years. During the Covid-19 pandemic, she strategized the unveiling of this more artistically naked version of herself to the public while being mindful of how conservative the mainstream jazz industry can be.
She forged and refined most of the material for Veronica Swift on the road. Much to her delight, audiences enthusiastically welcomed the new direction. “My live concerts have been the experiment by which I am seeing the readiness of the audience to embrace the full scope of who I am, and it’s encouraging to know I can continue to push myself creatively and invite people into the fold along the way

Headlining Act: Feverdreams
Born off the back of a COVID 19-induced dissolution of their former band, The States, and the isolation of the lockdown, Joshua Jacobs and Matthew Weisberg started dreaming up what would be next for their musical endeavors. Two ideas emerged: forming of a new musical project they called Feverdreams and an in-home recording studio, Kindred House Studio.
After working musically together for the better part of a decade, Weisberg and Jacobs had a type of secret language only they could understand. They began writing and producing their own songs, seeking a more blue-collar, “DIY” approach than previously done. They released their first single, “Wildfire”, a roots-driven rock song pushing them into the subgenre of heartland rock.
They’ve now gone back into Jacobs’ home studio with a full lineup that includes Taylor Michel on keys, Jesse Coleman on drums, and Cam Bowland on bass to start work on their debut album, “Some Great Unknown.”
Opening Act: Jenna Clark
Born and raised in Ocala, FL, Jenna developed a love for music from a young age. Growing up, her father sang and played in a three piece acoustic band, her grandmother played piano, and her siblings all played guitar. First placing hands on a guitar at age 11, she took weekly lessons from Nolan Drudge for a decade before making her way west to Texas.
Arriving in the Dallas blues scene in Deep Ellum in 2012, she saw her guitar studies in action and began to invest time in the local music. Eyes to fretboards every night for months, she learned more and began to join local open mics and blues jams, eventually landing her into paid opportunities and more exposure to local songwriters.
Following a decade in north Texas, with a pull back to her roots and to learn more from Nolan Drudge, she returned to her hometown of Ocala in 2023 where she is now studying music theory through new instruments: electric bass & piano as well as writing new songs.

Discover the ultimate Allman Brothers experience! Celebrate 55 years of the of Allman Brothers Band with Florida favorite, Steeln’ Peaches, as they return to the Reilly Arts Center!
Steeln’ Peaches is Florida’s premier tribute to the Allman Brothers Band, celebrating the music of Southern rock’s founding fathers with authenticity, passion, and creativity. Faithfully recreating ABB classics while offering fresh interpretations, this seven-piece ensemble brings the iconic sound into the 21st century.
Featuring members from acclaimed Florida acts like The Groove Orient, and Thomas Wynn & The Believers, Steeln’ Peaches formed through a shared love for the Allman Brothers’ legendary catalog. Founding members Chuck Magid (guitar/vocals), David Vanegas (percussion), and Aaron “Bucky” Buckingham (drums)—veterans of The Groove Orient—laid the groundwork for the band, inspired by Chuck’s fiery guitar work, which even shaped the group’s name.
The band’s evolution accelerated when Chuck teamed up with blues guitar virtuoso Daniel Heitz. Their mutual admiration for ABB classics turned casual jams into a dedicated project. Daniel brought along keyboardist Colin Fei, whose mastery of the Hammond organ channels the spirit of Gregg Allman. Rounding out the lineup are bassist Glenn Kastrinos, a versatile musical force, and drummer Adam Volpe, whose addition completed the band’s rhythm-heavy foundation.
With exceptional talent, dynamic chemistry, and a commitment to honoring the ABB’s expansive jams and virtuosic compositions, Steeln’ Peaches delivers an electrifying live experience that resonates with audiences old and new. This is more than a tribute—it’s a revival of a timeless musical legacy.

Just wanted you to know that the 3 tickets for a St. Louis Blues NHL game I purchased from your site were unbelievable. I knew they would be fairly decent seats when I ordered them. But, having never been to Scottrade center I was blown away to be sitting 9 rows up off center ice for around $60/ticket. We were so close, you could hear the words the players were yelling at one another. These were normally $127/ticket seats. The tickets arrived within 2 days of the order being placed, in mint condition, exactly as described. I will definitely use this service again and recommend it to others.” –Kathleen in Topeka, Kansas
