The Storytelling Knights program is an Artify Ocala Inc. outreach that takes place in Ocala and Greater Marion County, in partnership with the Marion County Public Library system. This exhibit highlights the Storytelling Knights program and the artwork it has inspired.
With a variety of works from talented local artists paired with interactive experiences, this exhibit invites our community to explore the realms of imagination. Complete with a miniseries of workshops that enable attendees to dive a bit deeper into the world of applied tabletop roleplay games, this exhibit promises to be full of fun and fantasy.

2025 heralds the 75th year for Ocala Art Group (OAG) promoting and sharing fine arts throughout the Central Florida community through hands-on classes, exhibits, and auctions.

Enjoy a unique art exhibit, festive reception, art demo and live music!

The event features the opening of OAG members’ amazing artwork exhibition, themed “Wild, Whimsy, and Wonderful,” which will continue until the end of the month.

At 11 a.m., artist Margaret Ross Tolbert will give a free talk in the auditorium, “Canvassing Florida Springs.”

At 2 p.m., see a free screening of the documentary, “Lost Springs” with a brief intro by filmmaker Matt Keene.

The Donut Express and Brick & Ember food trucks will be onsite from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Saturday hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Free First Saturdays are sponsored in part by Marion Cultural Alliance, National Endowment for the Arts and CAMPUS USA Credit Union.

First Friday Art Walk takes place the first Friday of each month, September through May from 6 to 9 p.m. First Friday Art Walk is a free event located within Ocala’s historic downtown.

Event festivities include over 30 artist displays, monthly live entertainment, free family art activities provided by local arts organizations, and extended shopping hours.

Participating visual artists and buskers are located along the downtown sidewalks next to participating businesses. There are a variety of art mediums on display and for sale.

The main entertainment is located in the downtown gazebo.

**In the event of inclement weather, the First Friday Art Walk will be cancelled.

14th Annual Silver River Prehistoric Arts Festival at the Silver River Museum in Ocala, Florida.
