Welcome to the Pumpkin Masters Carving & Painting Party! Presented by Signature Brands and Marion Cultural Alliance.

Join us during the October First Saturday (10/05/24) from 10am to 1pm at Brick City Center for the Arts for a fun-filled day of creativity and Halloween spirit. Our sponsors at Signature Brands will provide FREE pumpkin carving kits for the first 50 families (one kit per family). Jeeptoberfest is one of the largest Jeep Only events in the Southeast. The Annual fundraiser event of the Ocala Jeep Club will be held October 11-13, 2024.

The 3-day event will include:

Happy Birthday, Mr. Appleton! Enjoy free admission on October 12 and 13 in honor of museum founder Arthur I. Appleton (October 14, 1915-January 15, 2008).

How did the Horse Capital of the World become home to one of the finest art museums in the country? The Appletons wanted to share their vast art collection with the world and thought Ocala would be the perfect setting for a museum. The City of Ocala donated 44 acres of land for the Appleton Museum of Art in 1984. Mr. Appleton worked with Tampa architect Dwight Holmes to realize his vision, and the museum opened its doors to the public in 1987 with a magnificent, encyclopedic collection that is now home to more than 24,000 objects and works of art.

Hours on Saturday are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday, noon-5 p.m.
