xperience the power of giving by joining us at the ALZHEIMER’S FUNDRAISER on SEPTEMBER 19TH at 5:30PM. Together, we can support the fight against Alzheimer’s and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those affected by this disease. This class will allow each person registered 4 cookies to decorate and a sea glass inspired project to make in addition to raffles and food and fun!

If you or a loved one have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease or a related movement disorder, this interest group gathers monthly to share insights, issues, and resources.

An opening educational program is followed by a unique Parkinson’s exercise routine and two support circles – one for patients and another for caregivers – where relationships are forged around shared experiences, compassion and wisdom.

Come join us “unda di granmada camphor tree”, as we join our instruments to nature’s already playing sound bath. This is a free event, just bring yourself and a folding chair or yoga mat .
Your Phoenix is Rising is a collective of wellness practitioners dedicated to bringing Spirit, Mind, & Body to the forefront of how we collectively view health & Wellness. In our Sound baths, energy musicians tap into natural healing guiding a group into a releasing and restful experience while we enjoy our beautiful Florida climate together.

The Ocala Out of the Darkness Walk will take place on Saturday, October 5th, 2024 at Sholom Park.

The Community Walks, held in hundreds of cities across the country, are the core of the Out of the Darkness movement, which began in 2004. These events give people the courage to open up about their own connections to the cause, and a platform to create a culture that’s smarter about mental health. Friends, family members, neighbors and coworkers walk side-by-side, supporting each other and in memory of those we’ve lost.

Now, more than ever, it’s important to be there for one another and take steps to safeguard our mental health and prevent suicide.

The film celebrates the inspiring wit, wisdom, and experiences of people aged 75 to 100 years old. This glimpse into intimate memories and compelling personal histories spans over 3,000 years. Forty people will share their insights on living a meaningful life. The film’s introduction provides insight into the director’s vision for “Lives Well Lived,” and the screening will conclude with a discussion on documentary filmmaking.

Celebrate the holidays with us! Join Master the Possibilities for an afternoon showcasing faculty and students from some of Master the Possibilities’ arts and humanities programs. There will be piano class holiday music performances, dance numbers from Broadway
