Mini Mullisha presents the 2024 Southern Shootout. Bring your Coleman style mini bike and run either Stock, Stage 1 or the Outlaw class in Oval or Gran Prix style dirt track races. Everyone is welcome to come.
15$ per person gate fee, Kids 7 & under free, 25$ for the rider registration, all profits go to the track.
Camping is available Saturday night. NO ground fires.
The timed order of the event will be as follows:
1:00PM Gates Open
Drivers meeting & Hot laps 4:00PM
Racing 5:00PM
The Formats will be Oval and GP.
Oval: Full flag rules, rolling starts, flagger will explain at the drivers meeting. Stock class will run 5 lap heats and 10 lap feature. Stage 1 & outlaw will run 6 lap heats and a 12 lap feature.
GP: “TT/GP/circuit” style racing through the infield back around to the big oval. All classes will run a 10 laps, no heats.
Bike classes will be Stock, Stage 1, and Outlaw. THIS IS AN HONOR SYSTEM! We absolutely do not want to but if we have to tear down your motor we will. If you are caught cheating you will not be welcome to race at our events in the future. All bikes must be pull start Coleman, Motovox, Mega Moto or similar style mini bikes. If you podium (top 3) in the under classes you can run that bike in the next class up if you desire. If you are too slow, causing issues for faster traffic, you may be asked to pull off the track. The classes are as follows:
Kids class: 6-9 years old bikes must stay completely stock same engine rules as the stock class.
Stock: completely stock motor, governor in tact (NO ZIP TIES!), no exhaust/intake/carb/internals/flywheel/etc, absolutely 0 motor mods! 224cc max, No tillotson, ghost or animal style racing motors. Clutch, jackshaft or torque converters(TAV2) only, no gears or transmissions, 87-93 octane only, no race fuels or alcohol, frame mods are encouraged. Must be pullstart.
Stage 1: Carb, jets, intakes and exhausts allowed. 224cc max. We allow billet rods and flywheels due to safety reasons. Stock Cam and Valve Springs (no tillotson, ghost or animal motors with 265 cam stock etc). Clutch, Jackshaft or TC only! No gears or Transmission. 87-93 octane, no race fuels. Must be pullstart.
Outlaw: Basically our open class. Must be Clutch, Jackshaft, or TC. Must be pullstart. Racing fuels allowed. Any motor mods are allowed.

– Thursday October 24th will be early parking and tech inspection. Open to racers, crew and vendors / sponsors only on this date (no spectator tickets available on this day).
SCHEDULE:
12 p.m.: Racer / Crew / Sponsor Gate opens
1:30 p.m.: Tech inspection opens
6:30 p.m.: Tech inspection secured
7 p.m.: Gate secured / entry road stacking begins (security on-site)
– Friday October 25th will be our first full day of racing! We will have a test and tune session (open to 352 Shootout competitors only), as well as qualifying for 2 new racing classes, with eliminations taking place under the lights at Gainesville Raceway!
This day will be open to racers, crew and all spectators.
SCHEDULE:
8 a.m.: Racer / Crew / Sponsor / VIP Spectator Gate opens
8:30 a.m.: Tech inspection opens
10 a.m.: Spectator Gate (General Admission) opens
11 a.m. – 8 p.m.: Test and Tune Session ($75 per vehicle pre-enter / $100 at the gate)
5 p.m.: Qualifying Session #1 (Street Car Shootout / Street Sportsman classes)
6:30 p.m.: Qualifying Session #2 (Street Car Shootout / Street Sportsman classes)
6:30 p.m.: Tech inspection secured
8 p.m.: Driver’s meeting (Street Car Shootout / Street Sportsman)
8:30 p.m.: Eliminations begin (Street Car Shootout / Street Sportsman classes)
11 p.m.: Gate secured (security on-site)
– Saturday October 26th will be our second full day of racing, with two qualifying sessions in the morning / early afternoon, then class eliminations planned for a 4 p.m. start time. We will also host a car show with 13 awards up for grabs in the morning, a costume contest with cash prizes-awards for kids and adults, plus trunk or treat!
This day will be open to racers, crew and all spectators.
