I’m Kaitlyn, owner and operator of Brick City Food Tours, corporate communications and community engagement gal.
- I’m a Florida native, and grew up just outside of Ocala in Williston. My dad’s family goes way back in Ocala and I spent many a holiday in the Brick City.
- I’m momma to the sweetest little girl, who is my reason for every choice I make. The world is brighter because Vivi is in it.
- I’ll never not stop to watch a Julia Roberts movie, and my aforementioned daughter may be named after her most famous character.
- I’ve always loved history and watched a lot of History Channel docuseries growing up. My dream job as a middle schooler was to become a travel writer for National Geographic.
- My educational background is in communications & branding, so you can count on me buying a product because, “it looks pretty!”
- I’m OBVIOUSLY a massive foodie, and grew up on amazing home cooked meals. I started exploring different cuisines in college; my favorite dish is Jamaican oxtail!
- I’m a big believer in leaving people better than you found them. Community over competition every single time.
- I love supporting local arts, culture and people. I serve on the boards of both The Reilly Arts Center and Ocala Main Street, where we uplift and empower the voices of our neighbors.
- I love to sing! I mainly sing on my church’s worship team but you can catch me blasting Taylor Swift and Whitney Houston daily.
- I named my cat Nashville after my love for Music City.
- I’m a Pisces through and through: empathetic, dreamer, lover of all things blue!
- I’m an extrovert who recharges by reading, going on walks and having deep heart to hearts | ENFJ
