On Friday nights during THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL, dive into a fun cocktail hour from 6-7 p.m. The amazing Sean-T will be on steel drums in the lobby and concessions will be open for drinks all three nights (May 2, 9, & 16). Pepere Joe’s food truck will be parked outside under the portico on May 2 and May 9. In a generous gesture from our friends at Pepere Joe’s, all of their tips benefit OCT from now through October! So join us for a wonderful time whether you come just for the food and music, or stay for the show at 7:30 p.m

The City of Ocala in partnership with, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Commission, Juneteenth Celebration Committee, and Marion Cultural Alliance (MCA) is excited to announce the 2025 Levitt AMP Ocala Music Series. This ten-week free concert series will be Fridays, March 14 through May 16 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. This will be our 9th year celebrating the series.

The Levitt AMP Ocala Music Series is supported in part by the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation, which partners with changemakers and nonprofits across the country to activate underused outdoor spaces, creating welcoming and inclusive destinations where the power of free, live music brings people together, fosters belonging, and invigorates community life. www.levitt.org.

First Friday Art Walk takes place the first Friday of each month, September through May from 6 to 9 p.m. First Friday Art Walk is a free event located within Ocala’s historic downtown.

Event festivities include over 30 artist displays, monthly live entertainment, free family art activities provided by local arts organizations, and extended shopping hours.

Participating visual artists and buskers are located along the downtown sidewalks next to participating businesses. There are a variety of art mediums on display and for sale.

The main entertainment is located in the downtown gazebo.

**In the event of inclement weather, the First Friday Art Walk will be cancelled.

For Brady Seals and Lua Crofts, musical magic is all in the family. Brady is cousin to Jimmy Seals and Lua is the daughter of Dash Crofts. Together they are SEALS & CROFTS 2; with a repertoire of songs artfully re-imagined with a reverent nod to the past, and harmonies as sweet as a breath of springtime air.

Audiences will hear Brady, Lua and the band perform the classics of the iconic ’70’s and early ’80’s soft-rock duo Seals & Crofts, including:

“Diamond Girl,”
“I’ll Play For You,”
“King Of Nothing,”
“We May Never Pass This Way (Again).”

A founding member of the platinum-selling country ban Little Texas, BRADY SEALS is also part of Texas music’s royal family, counting both Jim Seals (of Seals & Crofts) and country legend “England” Dan Seals as first cousins. Acclaimed singer/songwriter Troy Seals is his uncle. Brady co-wrote three consecutive No. 1 songs for Little Texas (“What Might Have Been,” “God Blessed Texas” and “My Love”), winning him ASCAP’s Triple Play award.

LUA CROFTS’ father is none other than Dash Crofts himself, Jim’s partner for all those wonderful years and unforgettable songs. Lua made her recording debut at the age of 7, singing with her father and mother on a children’s album.

“I asked Lua to sing on a musical project that I was working on at the time called The Seals Family Album, to sing on my rendition of ‘Summer Breeze,’ and it was magical,” says Brady. “We both knew immediately we needed to explore working together more. I paused the project I was working on and started focusing on SEALS & CROFTS 2. Lua and I feel honored to tour together and to carry the torch and remind everyone just how special the Seals & Crofts catalog really is.”

At 11 a.m., artist Margaret Ross Tolbert will give a free talk in the auditorium, “Canvassing Florida Springs.”

At 2 p.m., see a free screening of the documentary, “Lost Springs” with a brief intro by filmmaker Matt Keene.

The Donut Express and Brick & Ember food trucks will be onsite from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
