Exhibit Dates: September 4 – 26, 2026 at Brick City Center for the Arts
Freedom means something different to each of us. It can be found in our personal journeys, creative expression, relationships, beliefs, memories, aspirations, and everyday lives. This exhibition invites artists to explore and interpret the concept of freedom through their unique perspectives and artistic voices.
CALL TO ARTISTS! Local & regional artists are encouraged to consider & submit themes of self-expression, resilience, identity, hope, possibility, remembrance, and the enduring human spirit. Works inspired by America’s 250th Anniversary and the 25th Anniversary of September 11 are welcome, but participation is not limited to those subjects. The goal of this exhibition is to celebrate the many ways freedom is experienced, understood, and expressed. MCA membership is not required to participate. Entry fees will apply.
