There is no better way to beat the Florida Summer heat than to hit the springs. The water is crystal clear and a refreshing 72-74 degrees (year round)!

Float time is approx. 4 Hours.

If you have not been to Rainbow River before, OR have not been in a while, there are a few things you should know:
MAKE A RESERVATION!!! KP Hole Park now allows for reservations for your parking spot and tubes. Please use the below link – sign up for their site and then go to “Get a VIP Parking Pass”. Scroll down to August 11th and reserve 1 spot per vehicle. During your reservations you can tell them how many tubes you will need. Parking spots & tubes are held until 11AM. We are planning on being there around 9AM – check in – get our tubes – lather on the sunscreen and hit the water by 10. https://parks.marionfl.org/i-want-to/visit-kp-hole-park

You cannot bring your own float – you must use their tubes. However, you can bring your own kayak or SUP or rent their kayaks if you don’t wish to tube.

FOOD & DRINK: You CAN bring your own float for a cooler or floating cooler. Please note there are specific rules you must follow for bringing food & drink onto the river. All food and drink cannot be in disposable containers – no Ziploc bags, bottled water or drinks, bags of chips etc. If you can throw it away, leave it home. Everything must be in Tupperware or Rubbermaid containers or sports bottles/yeti type cups. Also – no alcohol. They have a scanning system and WILL check.

Snorkeling – you can bring snorkel gear – there is lots to see, but you will also be required to have a dive flag.

Don’t forget sunscreen!
